Here is a short movie I made from my weekend in the Kerala backwaters shot with my Fuji X100. The backwaters are a chain of lagoons and lakes linked by canals and rivers. Filled with rice paddies, the Kerala Backwaters are so different from Bombay it is shocking: not only is it green, but the lack of auto rickshaws and other vehicles honking give the country a relaxing and soothing tone.
We went with a group of work friends renting a 3 bedroom houseboat for a long weekend, complete with captain, engineer and cook. It was the most relaxing weekend we had, just staying on the boat and going ashore to pick and buy food for that night.
