I recently bought a wide angle conversion lens for my Canon 1014, so I bought a step-down ring and tried the lens on my Canon 512 as well. The film used here is Pro 8/13 ASA200 tungsten balanced, processed and scanned by Pro 8mm in Burbank. I shot this test in Kenilworth park, DC. Not sure what possessed me to use tungsten balanced film for an outdoor camera test, but results aren't bad. The lens gives a very psychedelic warped tunnel vision effect if the camera lens is not set to "macro" photography. The results, even the close-up are not as sharp as with the Canon 1014, but it's still a good wide angle lens. The soundtrack here is "London's Lost Rivers" by Coil, alternate LP mix.
