I've always admired the minimalists, the abstractionists and the surrealists. While spending most of my time in a world of photo realism, I immensely enjoy getting back to the simple task of making color and images if only for the sake of the process.
Last year I began an "impressions" series that is a continuing exploration into color, tone and form. There is no computer manipulation in shooting or processing the images. Just intensional camera movement combined with long exposures and on lens filters.
Here is a new piece that has been in progress for awhile now combining many different shooting techniques along with sound, video, time lapse clips, and stills that is designed to change your perspective......titled simply: "Deconstruction"
