This was really fun to make. The idea was to do a project involving Feb 22nd (2/22). I was going to take a picture every two seconds until I had two thousand, but I did a test and it didn't work as well as I thought. I ended up taking a picture every three seconds and I let it run for a part of my usual run/bike ride. I ended up with 1,565 pictures
I want to do more like it. I found (after the fact) that if you keep a target object near the center of the screen (like the elderly couple at the end) it isn't jarring even when you shake the camera all over the place.
To mount the camera on my bike I used a bogen clamp and ball head combination, and clamped it on my handlebar (with some gaffer tape underneath). It was strong enough that I put it on the rack of my car as well and drove around for a couple blocks.
