Early spring morning on Hornby Island, BC. Cold, dew still on leaves, just before, or as, the sun was coming up! The sun came up in the direction the camera was pointed, but not before I got the initial time lapse shots.
Stock HV20 shooting at 60i, no 35mm adapter. Believe it or not, this was captured using 50' component cables I had specially made and captured as 1920x1080i Motion JPEG to a Mac Pro (this was before the ProRes 422 codec was made). Very soft image due to a long-run cable using an analog signal, and a poor codec, unfortunately. But, it wasn't ever recorded as HDV.
Let me know what you think!
