Among the problems in Iran’s modern society, one may mention the inability of dialogue between various ways of thinking, which have risen from diverse cultures and beliefs of Iranians.
Photos and the video which are presented in this exhibition are a part of previously shown works in an exhibition called “minus five” held in December 2012 at UNESCO National Commission Gallery.
The idea of this exhibition took form from my journeys to different parts of Iran. We pass each other every day, with no conversation and no dialogue; even we do not see each other, forgetting how each one of us affects our destiny as a citizen in climaxes of history. Having social barricades and economical sanctions, Iran’s middle class is now facing several difficulties, and certainly in need of having dialogue with other class of society, which is accustomed to be the only voice in narration of the country.
