These playful sketches twirl with a few thoughts about utopia and dystopia, agency and determinism, technology and learning. Or something like that. These are also simply about a robot I call a teaching machine.
No narrative arc nor grand claims of wisdom tie these vignettes together. As such, they resemble, in my mind, the definitely delightful yet somewhat disjointed experience of being in an awesome MOOC called Elearning and Digital Cultures (http://www.coursera.org/course/edc). It's a corner of cyberspace where people have sparked, enlightened, and coloured each other's learning journeys in a way that is not easy to articulate or define.
I hope you will enjoy these sketches as much as I enjoyed making them. I have shared them at http://bit.ly/ZC2neD as a nod to particular cool individuals who happily share their own work and to the whole community who have inspired these. I believe that together we have created an exhilarating atmosphere for learning. To the course team, thank you for building and nurturing a wonderful, almost magical space.
