As you journey around the beautiful little streets of San Patrignano (Italy), you will encounter many types of flowers. Amongst these different flowers, the most prominent are the ‘Forget-me-nots’—which are tiny in size, but so beautiful and full of life. These flowers meaningfully capture what nature has, unfortunately, become, in the lives of so many people in the twenty-first century: small, seemingly forgettable decorations, instead of an integral component in our lives. Representing nature, these flowers appeal to us to, ‘Forget-me-not’… ‘Forget-me-not’! In a world where urbanization is the rule and not the exception, and a time when we engage less and less with nature, we often need the reminder of what a difference nature can make. This film—directed and produced by two twenty-somethings who themselves grew up in large, bustling cities—contains a powerful reminder of nature. Follow our cast’s remarkable stories as they open their hearts, revealing their darkest memories of the drug-filled lives they have left behind and as they re-account for us the path, which led them to this transformation. Be ready to be inspired by this message of hope and sincerity.
