"Keep Falling in Love"
The song is now stuck in the heads of those who were at Sunita + Dave's gorgeous, gorgeous wedding at Terminal City Club! Whenever music is being played, the pictures of this one awesome piece of SDE would show up. One beautiful wedding that's hard to forget.
It was back in February this year when we first met Sunita and Dave at a Starbucks. I remember how comfortable I felt just casually chatting with Sunita and Dave. They are simply one sweet couple and I just enjoyed every moments with them. There was a connection; that's what I felt with Sunita. Especially when we found out that she happens to have one of our boys' on her Facebook. What a coincidence! The more we chatted, the more common friends/people that we'd find we have -- like her photographer, Matthias, is actually Sunita's childhood friend and we just happen to know and worked with him from one of our 2011 weddings.
We talked about how Dave and Sunita met, how Dave proposed and how they started their long-distance relationship a few years ago. Their story is simply adorable; Dave and Sunita met at a party! Dave was determined that he wants to see Sunita again. So he insisted having her to leave her jacket at their table so that she'd come back to get it before she leaves. And now, here they are, happy newlyweds!
At this very first meeting with Sunita and Dave, she already knew what she wanted and told us this crazy idea for her SDE and wanted to see how excited we would be. And we were VERY excited when she told us she wants it to be an Entrance Video instead of just some typical wedding song for her reception entrance. It was absolutely fun discussing wedding details with Sunita, and Dave would just agree to anything (super sweet to Sunita, just sweet!) At the end, Sunita just said "I feel comfortable booking with you" and she turned to Dave "what do you think? How do you feel?", Dave was "yes!" and I was thinking "YES!" It was one of the speedy bookings we have and one of the best first client meetings too! They're just like friends and we love our friends! :)
A couple of weeks before the wedding, Sunita came to us with her final choice of the songs that she wants for her SDE. We were hesitant at first to use 2 of the same songs, but we're glad Sunita stuck to her choice and we rolled with it. Best thing about it is, we got most of the wedding party to cover the song; featuring Dave, of course. While Ingrid Michaelson's version was dramatic and emotional, UB40's brought fun into the SDE (we went pretty crazy during the photoshoot). I don't think we've ever done so many steadicam fly-bys and slo-mo shots at a wedding.
Congratulations to you two. We will miss you. All the best to you and your new life togther in California!
If you watch this beautiful piece of video, you've got to watch till the end to catch some awesome "behind-the-scenes" (BTS) moments!
