Blackbirds hold so much mystery and meaning. They both peacefully and ominously sit in the top of bare trees, looking down upon us all. As if they know something we don't. Looking like beautiful onyx leaves attached to the limbs. Suddenly there is a sound; and they fly away in a whirl. These birds symbolize secrets, thought, and mystery. This video was also inspired by stanza XIII of Wallace Stevens' poem, Thirteen Ways of Looking at a Blackbird: "It was evening all afternoon./ It was snowing/ And it was going to snow./ The blackbird sat/ In the cedar-limbs."
