Team Thingking at the 2-day long BreakMakeCreate Hackathon.
With a music themed hack, we recreated a classic - musical chairs. Unlike the usual musical chairs, these musical chairs are used to create the music, as well as play the game. Sensors in the chair (such as tap and tilt sensors) allow the players to create their own song by tapping the chairs and rocking back and forth. Once the song is created, the game starts. Visual (multicoloured lights) and audio (voice prompts) guidance instructs players what to do, and when they're out of the game. The game is completely overseen by the processors involved, meaning no-one has to be left out in order to start and stop the track and take away chairs.
Technologies used include Arduino, Processing, PureData, Cubase and OSC
