28 > 2 + 8 = 10 > 1 + 0 = 1
In the 28th year of my life, I celebrated my first 10 years of dance, when everyone was saying that the world was about to end.
To celebrate these 10 years, fundamental in my personal growth, I decided to create a long solo consisting of 10 chapters put together in a playlist prepared with the advice of the 10 friends who know more about music.
The tracks represent memories collected over the course of these 10 years, the anthology of a young man’s life who looks at this world that is not simple at all, where the future seems darker than the darkest past. 10 tracks for the end of the world is the personal revelation of universal concerns, my response to the insecurity and the precariousness that dominate us and turn into prophecies, an answer to this slow, much discussed, much awaited Apocalypse. With a fragmented dramaturgy, a serial structure that leans towards cancellation, 10 tracks for the end of the world is a discourse on “the end”, the end of a cycle, but also on change, on '”waiting for a revelation”.
There are tracks, events, movements of mind that, even after they are finished, leave a trace. They resonate within you and remain tangible, visible as the dust remains suspended after the chalk that fell from the blackboard, has crushed onto the floor.
As the number ten represents the beginning and the end, the static perfection and the cyclical renewal, I would like 10 tracks for the end of the world to fluctuate in the tension between the fear of a determined ending and the desire of wanting the “end of the world” to swipe everything away.
