Pop up restaurant "The Orange Buffalo" in East London has only been on the scene for a few months but is already gaining a healthy following of locals, City workers and visting Americans who want a taste of home. Focussed on one thing and one thing only, Buffalo wings, creators Nick White and Mike So decided to set up their chicken wing Pop up restaurant as they missed the Buffalo wings they grew to love while spending time in America.
Created in Buffalo, New York, a Buffalo wing, hot wing or wing is a chicken wing section that is traditionally deep-fried unbreaded and then coated in sauce. The buffalo wings are then served with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing.
Like any good reporter I tried the wings. With each order you get 8 large wings served with a homemade blue cheese sauce and celery, Sauce wise you can choose from their original buffalo hot sauce, the hotter Woof Woof sauce and there is even a (caution needed) much-much hotter Viper sauce.
