Shot on a Canon 7D with 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM at 1280x720 60fps. Then with Cinema Tools 'conformed' to 24fps (took about a minute in 1 yr old iMac). Then converted to Apple Pro Res 422(Lt) with MPEGStreamclip. Video on left was with 50% quality setting in MPEGStreamclip and video on right was 100% quality setting. I can't see any difference. YouTube would not accept Apple ProRes 422 exported format from FCP 7, so exported to regular Quicktime H.264. The reason I used MPEGStreamclip instead of FCP Canon Plugin in is because the conforming affects original recorded file. So I copied the original, put in a different file and could not get the plugin to find that file. The plugin only works on the original file structure brought in off of the CF card. Next time I will copy the original as a back up and conform the file that is in the original file structure from the card. The meta data may need to be refreshed, I'm not sure, but that can be done in the FCP log and transfer window.
