Part 1 of 3: Getting some more time in on my Phantom 2 with H3-2D gimbal. This was also a test for a polarizing filter for the GoPro HD Hero 3 black edition n the bright cloudless California sky. The Phantom 2 handled well, so I took a few low altitude spins around the area, trying to get used to making slow controlled movements. I found that the right or left turn controls on the left stick, make pans too fast and the video suffers. In the future, I will work on making smoother banked turns using my right stick at 10 or 2 oclock. In parts 2 and 3 aI will work on backing up the Phantom at low altitude, as well as slow low flights.
