                          4) When submitting, you must indicate whether you are a junior-category (grades K-8) or senior-category (grades 9-12) student and which school you attend (if applicable) in your film's description in order to be eligible for FilmCAN.

                          5) Only those students from kindergarten to grade 12 residing on Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands within the province of British Columbia are eligible for FilmCAN.

                          6) On January 3rd, 2015 at 12:00PM PST, submissions will first be judged by amount of like ratings. From a Top 5 list of films with the highest like ratings, remaining submissions will next be judged by a Film Festival jury, from which a winner in both the Junior and Senior categories will be picked.

                          7) Winners will be announced on our web page at our Pre-Festival Bash at 6PM on January 6th, 2015. Both the Top 5 Films in each category and winners in each will be announced on our web page (victoriafilmfestival.com) as well.

The Top 5 films in each category may be asked to provide this if needed. Failure to provide proof of these will result in an ineligible submission and disqualification from FilmCAN.

                          9) By submitting a film to FilmCAN, you agree to all the rules and regulations mentioned previously and agree to abide by Vimeo's Terms of Service.

                          10) The winning films in each category will be shown on the big screen during the Victoria Film Festival (February 6-15, 2015.)
