Two days ago I saw a post related to the Lightworks festival (http://www.lightworks.me/) inviting artist to submit Video Haiku.
They described these as :' This is for films that have a total of 17 images or sequences – equivalent to the use of 17 syllables in the Japanese poetry form Haiku.'
I first thought about submitting one of my tiny previously made videos but they have all at least 20 images. I could have re-edited one of them but I decided to just do a tiny one.
So here you go, 17 images and about 2 hours of work end to end.
I could have done with 1 or 2 additional images to give it a better end but that wouldn't have been an haiku anymore.
A bit of background about the video. The girl is playing this old French game 'he loves me, he loves me not'... not sure it's well known outside the French speaking countries... Wikipedia can tell you more about it:
The track used is 'Everything' by the Ontario based artist mute:solo. http://mutesolo.bandcamp.com/
I invite you to listen to the whole track, it's a very nice one.
