Final Cut Pro & Pro X Tips and Tricks

How to copy bits of audio of your multi-channel clips in the timeline. The key here is that you have R or Range Tool selected and you have to click on and hover over the specific track you want to work on. It feels a little strange, but it works when you get the hang of it. If you have the Arrow selected, then hitting I or O will select the entire clip.

Also, I shoot and edit for a living. So, if you are need a project produced or are looking for an editor to cut your project, check out my site at 5thwall.tv. I have 4 edit suites and an VO record booth/mix suite ready to work on your projects. Thanks!
