During a recent trip to Paris, editor-in-chief Mary Anne Been booked a tour called "In the Kitchen With the French Master Baker" with experiential tour company Wonderful Time. The master baker was Frédéric Lalos, who taught Mary Anne and her fellow travelers how to bake a classic French pastry: the croissant.
