This shortfilm was made for the "international cries of the world film festival".
The film has to be made of three shots, one sequence shot and two additional shots of less than 30 seconds each.
I decided to work on the crie as a living object and to avoid any sort of drama.
I wanted to have a short and absurd film that respected the theme but went against what people would expect on such subject.
My friend Sullivan Le Corvic, who is way more geek than I am, wanted to be the faster-than-sound-running-man and I must say that we had a lot of fun shooting the scenes and watching the final result.
It took us a little more than half an hour to shoot the live action scenes and three hours and a half to shoot the 1.2 kilometers long travelling (0.74 milles) for a 4 secondes screen time!
Thanks to my very good friend Nicolas Mayer who took on the little precious time he has to mix this film and many thanks to Anne-Lyse Thomine and Julien Chesné for this long evening conversation that gave birth to this very short film.
Shot with a Canon 60D, Tamron 24-70, 2.8.
Edited on Premier CS6, compositing on AE CS6 (using the infinite knowledge of the AE' hidden son mister Andrew Kramer), mixed on Logic.
