This reel is a compilation of my Game animation work and personal animation study work mostly done at Eurocom Developments Ltd.
All the characters are animated by me using hand key animation in Maya. All the animations are key framed except for the second last one where Ron and Hermione are motion captured and cleaned up. In that shot only Nagini the snake character is keyframed by me.
The opening shot of the owl flying towards the camera is from the game Harry Potter for kinect. This is the opening cutscene for the game and I am responsible for both the camera and owl animation. The animation is keyframed and based on reference videos.
The second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth shots of birds dancing and celebrating on the podium are from the game Rio.
The second is based on animated reference provided by Blue sky. Rest all are keyframed by myself based on bird reference and imagination.
The following characters are from Disney Universe game. I am responsible for the animation of all the following characters:
The large minion character dressed up in Wall-e costume falling down resulting from the explosion.
The small minion character in Pirate costume attacking.
Four legged character attacking towards camera.
Blue character in Nemo costume climbing up.
The small minion character in Pirate costume attacking with sword.
Blue character in Nemo costume showing off.
The small minion playing guitar.
Blue character in Tron costume celebrating victory.
Spiderman animation is hand keyed and was done for a game which got cancelled.
The Bulldog is keyframe animation done for the game Rio.
The Horse animation is a personal work. The rig is an onlile free rig modelled by Hung Vodinh and rigged by me Joel Anderson. It is handkeyed.
The German Shepherd animation is a test animation I did in my free time between the projects. It is a production rig for bond game. As it is for game animation it is not a very complex rig. It is handkeyed.
The Great Dane animation is a old personal work(hand keyed) and it is a free rig modelled by Hung Vodinh and rigged by me Joel Anderson.
The second last shot is a cutscene from the game Harry Potter for kinect.
In this cutscene only Nagini the snake character is keyframed and other two characters are motion capture data cleaned up and overkeyed by me.
The last shot is also a cutscene from the game Harry Potter for kinect.
