The arrivals is probably the part of the day when the videographer is under the most pressure timewise. So many things are going on, and you need to prioritise and pick out the most interesting parts to film. I prefer the fly on the wall approach but when the photographer is at the Bride's house, then it may be best to step outside the comfort zone and direct a few shoots with the Boys to improve the content of the film. This is what happened in the first 2 minutes of this film. When the photographer arrived at the church he made a great job of setting up all the shots of the Bride with Mum and Dad and all the Bridesmaids that everyone would wish to have recorded. I love working with Photographers that work to that formula.
