Just a little thing I did with Will in the morning. This is a different route up the infamous Mt Baldy scramble in Kananaskis Country.
We brought our rock climbing shoes on this one because this was described as a "climber's scramble" in the book. We were expecting some steeper terrain (and possible rain) but in the end it was low-angle slab and dry conditions.
The approach was through a drainage canyon that had really fun scrambling over crumbling and slippery rock.
The overhead shots of me are from a homemade backpack camera rig, made of some old hiking poles, that I was testing out.
Inspired by this awesome video by Renan Ozturk.
Cameras are the GoPro HD camera (mostly for the overhead shots) and the Panasonic LX3 for everything else.
