"South Italy, 1932. Giovanni, after a hard working day on the fields, realises he's forgoten at home his accordion and that he won't be able to play during the celebration of the ending of the harvest. On his way home, Giovanni is assaulted by a disturbing human figure. After a short struggle, he is able to free himself and arrives home very disturbed. His sister receives him and helps him, through a magic ritual, to come out of his state of woe. After he's recovered and with his wife's help, he decides to go back to the festivity."

Danzë is a half-invented story, its starting point is a real or magic event, collected and redelivered to present time in the form of drama. It's an alternative cinema experiment that wants to make use of the scheme of filmic construction to tell oral, folklore and ritual magic, stories.

The events represented in the film don't depict cultural relicts, but stories in which people can reflect themselves. These are stories of struggles and unresolved memories.
