The Best Indie Filmmakers

A student film director casts his reluctant father as the main star in a cheesy mobster movie. His only crew member is his best-friend who works the camera and lighting but his main role is to offer moral support. Issues arise over the course of the shoot that lead to an epic showdown between father and son which puts the entire project in jeopardy.

Filmed in a minimalist, cinéma vérite style, and using improvisational techniques; "Action" explores many of the obstacles that a student filmmaker has to overcome in order to achieve his or her vision.
