This ninth video (December) is a little bit late on schedule, I am sorry.
From early September to mid-December, I went to almost every sports day and school events (concerts, cultural festivals and other shows) in Misasa and shot few videos. There are fourteen events, from kindergartens’ plays and sports days to junior high school concert, which represents hours of footage. But I only selected 12 seconds (usually cut in 3 or 6 seconds sequences) of each event. Only the last scene last a little bit more, because I had few seconds left to fit in the music.
The video aims to introduce school life in Misasa, as well as interaction between kids and other inhabitants (parents and grand-parents coming to event), through these several events.
I hope you will enjoy the video and that, more than Misasa, it will give you a glimpse of life in rural Japan.
