LMO were recently at British Grove studios to record Klaus Badelt’s score for Fly Me to the Moon which is directed by Pascal Chaumeil.
Fly Me to the Moon tells the story of a successful woman who is in love and tries to break her family curse of every first marriage ending in divorce, by dashing to the alter with a random stranger before marrying her boyfriend..
Klaus Badelt scored for a 36 piece orchestra comprising 10 first violins, 10 seconds, 8 violas, 6 celli and 2 double basses.
The score was recorded by Joe Kearns and LMO was led by Jackie Shave and conducted by Andy Brown. Klaus Badelt produced the recordings from a live link with a Los Angeles studio.
Fly Me to the Moon was recently released in Europe.
