Nothing fancy as far as production goes. These are straight out of the camera video clips from my Nikon D800 DSLR. It was very windy as usual. I do have an external mic. A Rodes with a dead cat on it for wind. Unfortunately its a bit melted at the front. Its melted right to the foam underneath. I shot mostly night video to see how the D800 did at higher ISO's. It did great. Much was shot at up to 5000 ISO. I used my Nikon lens collection. The 180mm 2.8, 50mm 1.8 and my trusty old 24mm 2.8. and my Sigma 120-300mm 2.8.
It was more like a long walk. Took me less than one hour each way.
The video shows what I saw in order from say midnight through sunrise.
There was minimal activity. Listen for the sounds of the lava falling over the sea cliff.
The D800 caught the transition from morning twilight to regular lighting very well. I used auto white balance.

I welcome comments. Remember, I'm not trying to be a Hollywood producer so, no need to criticize.
