My husband and I are farmers. We live 120kms from Esperance and about 600 kms from Perth so owning a plane can be pretty useful at times. This particular weekend we decided to fly our plane out to Israelite Bay with other friends and family. It's lovely flying this time of year. The canola is flowering, the lakes are full, the skies are clear and if we are lucky, we may even get the chance to see whales over the ocean.A bit of a bush picnic and then we checked out the old ruins. Back in the 1900's this was the site of a significant telegraph station. Today its home to an old fishing shack. But there is a lovely beach and coastline nearby.I love flying.
