Heap of DooMe was a performance intervention during DanCoyote Antonelli's Leap of Doom! performance at the 2010 Odyssey Performance Art Festival running from the 31st July – 10th August 2010 at Odyssey Art and Performance Simulator in Second Life. Employing a reclaimed 3D model truck from the Second Life Marketplace, the artist modified it to create a propaganda attack on the avatars present. This publicised the artist's representation by distributing Sandwich Boards used in all performances in Second Life.
The performance was largely spontaneous and responsive to the environment. It lasted approximately ten minutes and left a number of Sandwich Boards on site for the duration of the festival.
The performance was part of an ongoing series of works on identity and place in the ‘virtual’ space of Second Life.
