In regards to the weather, the 3rd of November was not the ideal wedding day in Perth - it rained almost all day! Thankfully Dorothy & Yao had a Church wedding, and when their plans for the location shoot needed to change, they didn't let it get to them, but chose to just enjoy every moment of the day!
We began early, capturing their preparations before the 11am wedding ceremony, which was held at the Chinese Presbyterian Church in Ardross. Our location shoot was planned for King's Park, but as the rain wouldn't relent, we simply went to a cafe inside the Crown Burswood complex where we could relax and grab a few candid shots. Finally, the reception was held at Shun Fung, a Chinese Seafood Restaurant located in Barrack Square, right on the Swan River. The place was packed!
We had a great time filming the day & you could tell how in love Dorothy & Yao are, and just how much fun they have together! This Highlights was put together the week after the wedding, so they could screen it at the 2nd reception, which was held in Sydney.
