A father and two sons sail down the Mississippi River. Their final goal is the Gulf of Mexico. They make it 300 miles downriver before docking The Illusion for the winter.
Told through the narrative of a radio interview and river imagery, the documentary starts out in a tiny northern marina, off the Mississippi river. A father and two of his sons set out for their adventure to the ocean. Motoring at the slow speed of 8 knots and without much experience the small crew make it about 300 miles south and settle off the Tennessee river for the winter. Along their way they encounter both natural and man made obstacles known only to the locals and fellow adventurers. Visit Tim Meyers office website at timmeyerscpas.com.
