Rock climbing in Scotland in "summer" of 2012. It's not often I get back these days, but I try and climb what I can when I am there. Usually this involves a frustratingly short window of opportunity, during which it typically rains. This time was no different, except for the snow.
Nevertheless, we climbed The Big Top - a classic E1 on the West Face of Aonach Dubh in Glen Coe. Tricked by the dry and slightly sunny morning, we climbed the route in sub-zero temps and finished in a blizzard. The wet rock and vegetation of the descent were an added bonus. Nevertheless, it was a route to remember and I guess good training for something.
My first attempt at colour correction/grading in Final Cut Pro X. Not totally happy with it, but I learnt a lot. Shot with a Panasonic DMC-G3 with the 14mm pancake lens.
