This tutorial discusses the AF100 "sw mode" in the menu system, which basically describes the user programmable buttons, dials, and switches. This mode allows the user to program the
- "function" toggle/joystick,
- "white bal" button
- the "gain" switch
- the iris dial
- user1, user2, user3 buttons,
- "wfm" button
- red start/stop buttons
- way faces are automatically recognized.
There is no audio on this one (I had a problem with the mic, but you can hear my pug panting as she walks up a garden path:-). There are two overlays of AF100 footage over the video of the LCD of the menu system. One starts at about 5:35 of and ends at about 7:11, Another starts at about 7:41 of and ends at about 10:42. The whole video is about 11 minutes.
I'm really new to this camera and doing this mostly as an exercise for myself. See also the related videos at vimeo.com/44280226, vimeo.com/44280569. There is a document at wdjoyner.org/video/af100-scene-settings-survey.pdf covering parts of this.
