Daniel McInerny is an author of fiction for both children and adults. In 2011 he launched a children’s entertainment company, Trojan Tub Entertainment, which features his humorous Kingdom of Patria series for middle grade readers.
He’s a native of South Bend, Indiana, and hold a degree in English from the University of Notre Dame, and a PhD in philosophy from The Catholic University of America. After finishing his PhD, heI spent 17 years in academia, teaching and working at various universities in the United States. Throughout those years his love of literature and storytelling played a big part in his teaching and research. He lives with his wife Amy in Virginia with their three children.
