“I became
inflicted with the
magic of orange trees
and never overcame it.
The trees
took hold of me
and never let me go,
with thousands of
hands, thousands
of embraces."
Farideh Lashai (Iran)
"I would like to call her a hybrid-artist; a gypsy who synthesizes
impressionism, the Far East tradition of paintings and the formal
paradigms of the early modernism altogether. A wizard-painter
with a boiling furnace full of branches, flowers, clouds,
memories and condiment of the old and the
contemporary arts at the same time!"
Ali Ettehad
art critic&curator (Iran)
