Park Studio takes interdisciplinary art education outside of the Santa Monica Museum of Art's walls and into the local community. Led by the Museum’s director of education and public programs, in collaboration with acclaimed contemporary artists, Park Studio guides high school students through hands-on art workshops, art history lessons, and field trips to important cultural sites each year during their Spring Break. Park Studio explores themes that combine art and urban life, and provides extraordinary extra-curricular opportunities to students free of charge.
Park Studio: Tree House will be open May 17 - October 5, 2014 in the Bergamot Station Arts Center parking lot. Please visit smmoa.org/programs for information on upcoming programs in the Tree House.
