Sony HDR-XR5xx/CX5xx/NEX-VG10

My first upload is a bit of loose handheld footage of the neighborhood kids enjoying the last days of summer. Shot on a Sony NEX VG-10 with an 85mm MF f/1.4 West German Contax / Zeiss lens (about 150mm with crop factor).

I'm strictly an amateur, and just getting used to turning the focus ring. If anything raises this a bit above the level of a home movie, it's the depth of field and amazingly rich color from the Zeiss glass. Next time I definitely need to ease up on the aperture so that I have a bit more DOF to work with.

Music is "Those Were the Days (Anniversary Mix)" by Vargo and "Dream" by Priscilla Ahn. Edited in Premiere Pro CS3 on the PC. Some BlueFX transitions and a bit of grading using Magic Bullet Looks (still a newb, so I went easy on them).
