Canon EOS 600D/T3i

A microshort with microsized sets, 'Light' is a live action film which looks like an animation.

Featuring tiny ice bergs and lots of colours and lights, the film is about a lighthouse trying to get through the night.

The film was made on a kitchen table using ice cubes, lamps and gels, an oven tray, a white plate, coloured paper, and duct tape to hold everything together for just long enough before the ice melted.

Shot on a Canon 600D using a Pentax-A 50mm f1.2, a Sigma super-wide II 24mm f2.8 (both reversed) and a Pentax-A 100mm f4 macro. Edited in Adobe Premiere CS6 and After Effects CS6.

Narrator: Alan Ireby
Director: Christopher Brooks
Filming and editing: Christopher Brooks and Michael Westcott with Matthew Dale
Original score: Kit Willmott
