Panasonic HDC-HS700/HDC-TM700

  1. I recently published an ambient video, _Wissahickon Moods_, using footage I shot with my TM700 over the past few years. It's just been made available through Vimeo On demand at the above link. It's also available through Amazon andVHX, and you can learn more at
  2. I know that it's an old thread, but I'm adding this for future googlers like me. As said above, it seems that the camcorder can work in 4 modes: - "intelligent auto" - "manual auto" mode (when you enter "manual" mode but don't set anything) - "shutter priority" mode (when you set exposure) - "full manual"…
  3. How do you deal with multiple files when shooting a long event. I import with HDwriter and I am left with several small files. I have tried Vegas Pro 11 and Premiere Pro 6 and both have a few missing frames and missing audio in between each clip. It is maddening.

    Very nice pictures
  5. imovie will import MTS files and convert them to MOV so you could use imovie to import and then FCE to edit

  7. Ok guys I will need a big help here. We capture medical footage in a AG-MDR15 Panasonic digital reorder that creates .MTS files. We can do 1080 60i 1030p etc but most the time our set up is 1080 60i. In windows I just play back with no problems and edit in Premiere Pro, works pretty well. Now we got…
  8. Danny, I am considering switching to an iMac with premiere and after effects cs 5.5 which sound similar to your set up. I would be using 1080p50 but i imagine that isn't too different to 60fps. How do you upload the footage from the camera (Panasonic Sd800 in my case)? do you need a third party uploader/converter? Any…
  9. thankyou! really? why would that be?
  10. Thanks mate. Well I usually take it as it comes regarding iris and shutter speeds. But I always shoot on the 1080p 50p setting, in manual. I usually shoot at 1/50th of a second, for a more filmic look and change the iris depending on the light.
