Sunday night on the always busy central square of the city of Oaxaca in Southern Mexico. We're approaching the Day of the Dead celebrations. Decorations have started to go up. Here people are entertained by a tall dead person with a beautiful hat and lots of skulls. Unlike Halloween, this is not about "be afraid, very afraid". It is supposed to be a good time without making death some impersonal force waiting to get us. Instead, deceased relatives, real people, are being called back to life for a day and a night for a graveyard party with the living.
