The Sony RX100 is a popular camera with folks looking for a compact "professional" stills alternative. The manual controls for video are up there with the Black Magic Pocket Cinema camera, with a much better LCD and larger chip. That said, there is some edge fall-off evident when shooting video with the lens fully zoomed out, so you might want to zoom in a bit to correct this. What I do really appreciate is full manual controls for ISO, WB, aperture and shutter...and 60p at 1080p is an option for great stabilized slow motion footage. This camera is also very compact (240 grams) so not much heavier than a GoPro Hero3 with LCD back.
