The Nikon P7800 is Nikon's premiere offering in the compact fixed lens portfolio. It has a larger form factor, similar to the Canon G1 X, but is also fairly light at 280 grams. If you choose the CSM video mode, you can lock exposure and focus when recording, however you cannot separately set ISO, shutter and aperture. The video quality from the P7800 is quite good, right off the camera. Edge fall off in the stair sequence is very low, color right from the camera is good, and dynamic range is excellent. The flip out LCD makes flying with Morpheus at lower/higher angles nice, as you can tilt the LCD to frame as you fly.
