After traveling thousands of miles from the north-east Pacific, these Salmon have made it home to spawn another generation. Their journey has left them haggard and many of them are now plagued by parasites and bacterial infection. Still, they battle the constant current to ensure that their species lives on. The Pink Salmon is critically imperiled in California, and imperiled in Washington state.
