This is a small test, with the Manfrotto 585 Modosteady in steady cam use. Fist part is with the Modosteady second part is without.
I guess you realy have to practice quiet a bit , to make it look real smooth, but I think you can see a slight difference with and without. The last part is more shaky.
I'm still working on balancing it, which isn't as easy with the HD1000. I guess, a normal old fashion camcorder is easier to balance on the Modosteady.
That is a little tricky, but I guess once you found the correct settings, it will work great.
It's a nice little thing. It's actually a 3 in 1. You can use it as table tripod, a steady cam and you can use the handle as a shoulder support.
Settings: 640x480 60fps all set on auto
