Forrest Gump is a timeless film that presents various life situations in a way that stirs all our emotions from laughter, to tears, to a sense of inner peace. Perhaps the greatest message that lay hidden within the film is the life of Lt. Dan Taylor (Forrest's Army Lieutenant in Vietnam). Taylor's life displays God's endless love and amazing grace to perfection, but it only appears when we look hard enough. God alone transforms this man, and despite it being Hollywood, this Taylor's life is relevant to our own.
