Graduating from the University of North Carolina in 2009, Gus earned a B.A. in Communications as well as a B.A. in Philosophy.
While attending UNC, Gus was an avid member of Student Television. As years progressed, he assumed increasing amounts of responsibility to eventually become a producer of a late night comedy show "The Bluelite District". In 2009, his final year as producer, The Bluelite District won 6 out of the 10 STVies (Student Television's annual award show). Along with its local success, The Bluelite District acclaimed worldwide attention online with views reaching hundreds of thousands thanks to online media sites such as YouTube.
His senior year of college, Gus interned with Figure 8 Films in North Carolina working on shows such as "Jon & Kate Plus 8" and "18 Kids & Counting".
Currently, Gus is working on his dream, Cogito Productions, and is an editor for the TV show "Get Connected". He is also a filmmaker for Demand Studios.
He lives in Atlanta with his dog, Jackson.
