Henriksen Arabians was born in the late 1960's as the brain child of Ruth and Dale Henriksen. With their first foundation mares purchased from Garth Buchanan at Comar Arabians and from Friendship Farms, they have created nationally competitive Arabian and Half Arabian horses. Now daughter Ann and granddaughter Sarah now hold the reins of Henriksen Arabians. Both Ann and Sarah compete competitively on a national level on Henriksen Arabians bred horses. All horses are prefixed with the "DR" which stands for Dale and Ruth, NOT "doctor". Henriksen Arabians Bred horses can be counted on to be consistently in the ribbons all they way from a local community show up to any National competition in anything from halter, western pleasure, hunter pleasure, reining, side saddle, equitation. and even endurance racing.
