On 27 January we mark Holocaust Memorial Day (HMD) by remembering the millions of people killed in the Holocaust, Nazi Persecution and in subsequent genocides in Cambodia, Rwanda, Bosnia, and Darfur. We honour the survivors of these regimes and challenge ourselves to use the lessons of their experience to inform our lives today.
The Holocaust Memorial Day Trust (HMDT) is the charity which promotes and supports Holocaust Memorial Day . HMDT encourages and inspires individuals and organisations across the UK to play their part in learning lessons from the past and creating a safer, better future.
