I'm a film and video editor, with experience working as a VFX editor on feature films including Green Zone, Scott Pilgrim vs The World and Kick Ass. I've also directed and edited two documentaries in the BFI National Archive - Staircases to Nowhere (about the making of The Shining), and From Borehamwood to Hollywood (which tells the story of 100 years of filmmaking in Borehamwood and Elstree).
I'm Senior Lecturer in Post-Productiom for the BA Film and Television degrees at the University of Hertfordshire, and an Apple Certified Master Trainer and Avid Certified Instructor.
I also run a project with a local volunteer group, Elstree Screen Heritage, called "The Elstree Project". It's a series of oral history interviews with veterans from the various studios in Borehamwood and Elstree, and aims to serve as an archive which documents the rich filmmaking history of the area.
